If you have been a long-time fan of "Lizzie Mcguire," chances are, you probably miss not only the lead character, but the rest of the gang as well. This only makes sense, with the very popular TV series having been first aired nearly one and a half decade ago. It is highly possible that you have heard about the rumors of a "Lizzie Mcguire Reunion 2015" release - so, is this reunion really happening or are these speculations - purely rumors?

As Media Mass has reported, the first set of talk about a "Lizzie Mcguire" reunion was spurred last Sunday, Oct. 12, when reports came out that Disney Channel gave a confirmation that the sitcom will be having a revival by the time 2015 rolls in.

Unfortunately, this seems to be untrue.

If you take the time to search the World Wide Web for news updates about the purported "Lizzie Mcguire Reunion 2015" release, all you would be faced with are articles saying that the lead actress, Hillary Duff, is open to the idea.

According to FashionnStyle, when Duff, who is now 26 years old, was asked about her thoughts of having a reunion, she said that she is open to it. As she put it, "so many people loved" Lizzie Mcguire, even herself. She even mentioned that it was through her character that she was able to strengthen her physical comedy abilities, with the show being really fun and all. She also brought up an idea of her own about a reunion, with the title somewhere along the lines of "Lizzie: Where Are You Now?". The actress did say that "10 years from now" may be a good idea for the concept.

In an interview with The Huffington Post, Hillary Duff, when asked if she is interested in taking part in a "Lizzie Mcguire" reunion, said that she would "love it," and the actress pointed out though that she currently has a busy schedule, but if given the chance, she might just do it.

Up to now, there still has been no confirmation as to whether there will be a "Lizzie Mcguire Reunion 2015" release.
