Nowadays, the Internet practically dictates how people act and how the society reacts. Internet has changed how we communicate with each other, how we build relationships, and how we manage our day-to-day lives.

The "Men, Women and Children" is a great film that tells the story of the reality of today. It focus on a group of high school teenagers and their parents as they try to take the helm of modern living. This film has its way of showing the social issues of today where fame hunting, video game culture, too much dieting, infidelity and the increased figures of prohibited materials dominate the Internet.

Every character and every relationship is tested. Viewers will get a chance to see different paths each character chooses to follow. Some of them are hopeful and some of them led to tragic events. It is clear that nobody is fully invincible to the massive social changes that are brought and influenced by tablets, computers and phones.

Main cast include Jennifer Garner, Adam Sandler, and Ansel Elgort. It is reassuring to look at the Internet as a great force. But at the same time, this made people look down while walking and just ignore anyone he or she sees on the hallway. People are so into their smartphones and almost too dependent with the Internet. This transformation is effectively seen in the "Men, Women and Children."

Jason Reitman is clever enough to make this timely film, which tackles the issues modern technology and the Internet brought to humanity. He did an excellent job letting the actors effectively portrayed people's insecurities and fears over their smartphones.

The "Men, Women and Children" is an intelligent interpretation of the diminishing intimacy as more and more people become isolated from each other. It has all the necessary elemetns to let people know how the changes in our communication affects our relationships.

Although this is not the only way to define modern life, it has successfully shows all the necessary elements of reality.
