The Walking Dead' Season 5: The Most Action Packed Episode This Show Has Ever Seen
We have three good things to talk about. First, "The Walking Dead" season five opens this October 12. Second, AMC Network renewed the TV series for another season (that's a guaranteed season 6 for us!). Lastly, Robert Kirkman will be releasing the newest "Walking Dead" novel two days after season five premiere. One word. TERRIFIC!

According to Norman Reedus, who plays as Daryl, "Everybody's so different now than when we started on the show, there's a lot of people that have proven themselves, some who haven't -- there's a lot going on."
Gale Anne Hurd, the executive producer, added "There will be blood. There will be some tears, there will be some cheers, and people will be on the edge of their seats for a lot for this episode." She explained further that, "Rick Grimes has embraced his leadership. We left last season looking like they were in an impossible situation, but we believed him when he said they were screwing with the wrong people." Wow! That's a lot to take in for sure.
In a report published by Entertainment Weekly, Lauren Cohan, who plays the role of Maggie Greene, described the premiere as "the most action packed episode this show has ever seen."
A trailer released by AMC showing Rick and the other folks in a fighting stance ready to grapple the Terminus people, only to find themselves facing some sort of teargas attack. Nonetheless, in another video, we can see the characters walking into the woods, which implies that they have escaped Terminus. Exciting!
