OS X Yosemite Release Date: Syncing Desktop or Laptop with any Apple Mobile Device
Apple is releasing a new operating system and they claim that this is the fastest. It is none other than the new "Mac OS X Yosemite". Mac fans can expect the release of this new OS this October 2014. It has been 4 months since the tech giant last announced the update and possible release date of this new OS and they have even made it available in beta since their announcement. And just recently, the developers already have the Gold Master material for this update and this only means that it won't be too long till they launch the new OS Yosemite.
This is going to be running smoothly with "iOS 8". This allows syncing desktop or laptop with any Apple mobile device. Users can see this integration once they check out the AirDrop and iCloud Drive feature.
In case you are not aware of what AirDrop does, it could simply make any file transfer from one Apple device to another as long as they are using "OS X". iCloud Drive on the other hand does not just limit file transfer to "iOS" or "Mac OS X" users, instead it can save a document and it can be viewed even if the user is not using a "Mac OS X". This means they are no longer exclusive for just Mac users.
Since the OS is still in beta form, the developers are still working on fixing some bugs and making sure that it is good for release. Apple is releasing new products with their laptops and also desktops so that seems to be the right time to release the new OS as well.
There are rumors that this new OS will be released along with the new "Macbook Pro" and "Macbook Air". These new laptops can now be enjoyed with their retina display feature. We can also expect the coming out of a new iPad and all this could be on October 21 of this year. The company has not released any official statement on the matter just yet. But one thing is for sure, it is indeed going to be a step-up from the previous Mac operating systems.
