The game developer, Paul "Rushy" Rustchynsky, gave an explanation to the furious players.

"We are sorry if you are having a hard time getting online as we know many of you are. Lease be aware that the game will automatically keep trying to connect you. Once you are online, you should have no further problems during your session," said Rushy on Facebook.

"Driveclub" is a 2014 racing video game for the PlayStation 4, developed by Evolution Studios and published by Sony Computer Entertainment. It revolves on the player and the player's friends, valuing teamwork. In the game, players with fight for one another and earn rewards together, while sharing the excitement of every race. Players are allowed to share their experiences, send and accept challenges from other players, and catch up with the team's performance. These elements strengthen the bond between the players.

Players can also achieve more by joining a club. Being a club member allows the player to gain access to various races as well as special challenges. Players can actually join an existing club or they can form their own and team up with other players. Usually, a team is made up of five members. As a team, the player's activities benefit the other members of the team. It is mutual relationship. The club can also be represented by personalized team colors as well as unique logos for the car.

Consistent and modified challenges maintain the game to be dynamic and one of a kind at the same time. It also provides a pick-up-and-play game experience to fit the player's lifestyle. Various parts of every race track offer a new opportunity to a player to have a Faceoff with another player in the "Driveclub" community. Triumphs in the race earn fame for the player and for the club. Players can also customize their challenges and share them globally.

The developers pledge to the games that they will attend to the connectivity issues as soon as possible.

"During the next 24 hrs we are running essential diagnostics to help us improve the performance of the servers. This may disrupt online play for you when you do get connected," added by Driveclub management on Facebook.
