Winds of Winter' spoilers: George R. R. Martin is Skipping one Season of Game of Thrones to Concentrate and Camp Out in his Writing Nest

News about the release date? Three words, NOT THIS YEAR.

No one knows the release date of the sixth book instalment of the hit book series "A song of ice and fire", even our precious writer George R. R. Martin does not seem to picture when will he finish writing the book. However, as we heard, GRRM has been very quiet recently, camping out in his writing nest in Santa Fe, Mexico and announcing that he is skipping one season of Game of Thrones to concentrate writing.  As a fan, I'm pretty happy to know that he is back to his hometown and this is very encouraging.

Fans are dying to know, what do we get on the next book? There has been a lot of speculations going around, unfortunately, GRRM isn't confirming any of this predictions, what he always do is to drop puzzle pieces every now and then.

Is Tyrion going to die? A dying image of Tyrion Lannister is not going to be a very good view because he is a fan favourite and GRRM admitted that he love him as well. However, in an exclusive interview of hollywoodlife.com, he said that, "I did cut off his nose, so...". George further explained that, "I want to be on the edge of my seat. So, the deaths are important and at all time necessary." Wait, what? So, no one is safe from execution even the little funny guy.

Another epic finding, a number of fans believe that Jon Snow is still alive! Thanks to iDigitalTimes for sharing this wonderful information.

As sourced from the i09 site and analyzed by the mentioned source, GRRM said, "You introduce characters, and sometimes they take on a life of their own...Some major characters -- yes, I always had plans, what Tyrion's arc was gonna be through this, what Arya's arc was gonna be through this, what Jon Snow's arc is gonna be.". Whoa! Are we thinking the same thing? Yes! It seems like Mr. Martin decided to retain the beloved Jon Snow character.

I am quite aware that nothing is confirmed yet, but I personally think that speculation and analysing his interviews would give us something to hold on to until the unveiling of the next book.

For the meantime, while waiting, We, the fans and I, could temporarily shift our excitement  and enthusiasm to "The World of Ice and Fire: The Unfold History of Westeros and the Game of Thrones". According to christiantoday.com, the book is set to be release this October 28. Indeed,  Amazon, Barnes and Noble are now accepting pre-orders for the said book.
