'The Good Wife Season 6' Spoilers: Alicia Set to Make The Big Decision, Michael Fox and Carrie Preston Much Awaited Scenes
"The Good Wife Season 6" is expected to answer the audience's most anticipated question - will Alicia Florrick run for State's Attoney?, IBtimes reported.
The legal and political drama returned on Oct. 5 with an episode titled "Dear God." The hit CBS series seemed finally ready to answer the question fans had been asking since last season.
Amid audience eagerness to know Alicia's decision, it was not revealed in the said episode. It can be recalled that the lead character's decision making has been left hanging during "The Good Wife Season 5."
Contrary to what the viewers have expected, "The Good Wife Season 6's" first three episodes were focused on Matt Czuchury's character, Cary. Alicia was having a hard time in fixing Cary's arrest dilemmas and legal issues.
The series also focused on Diane, played by Christine Baranski, who also has a big decision to make - to leave Lockhart & Gardner law firm or not?
On the other hand, Breathecast reported the teaser shown at the end of the third episode, which shows Alicia saying "I'm thinking of running for State's Attorney." The 53-second video of Episode 4 titled "Oppo Research" alerted "The Good Wife Season 6" avid viewers and made the anticipation bar up a notch.
According to The Good Wife's co-creator, the character of Alicia is set to face harder struggles in the series' sixth season. "Robert King, the show's co-creator stated that Alicia Florrick will need to step over some bigger hurdles in "The Good Wife Season 6."
Even without the confirmation of her candidacy for State Attorney, Alicia's marriage is set to be under turmoil after Peter, her husband, conveyed his intention to support Castro instead of Alicia. There are also rumors that the two legal powerhouses will soon end their relationship once Alicia wins the post.
Aside from the life-changing decision of Alicia, "The Good Wife Season 6" ratings can also be credited to Michael J. Fox and Carrie Preston appearance in a single episode, Cartermatt reported.
The two Hollywood big names are said to appear on the series' Oct. 26 episode. The episode has no title yet but the synopsis has been already out.
"Alicia and Elsbeth put their legal battle on hold when the government brings an economic espionage charge against both of their clients. Meanwhile, Diane sets her sights on moving Florrick/Agos/Lockhart into the Lockhart/Gardner/Canning office space, leading to a battle with her former partners David Lee and Louis Canning."
