"The Vampire Diaries" premiered last Thursday, October 2 with a first episode entitled "I'll Remember". To be honest, the premiere left more hanging questions rather than answering the one's left behind after the season finale.

For the next episode, here's (a teasing) official CW description for TVD episode titled The Yellow Ledbetter per Celebrity Laundry:

"Knowing she needs to come to terms with the loss of Damon (Ian Somerhalder), Elena (Nina Dobrev) turns to Alaric (Matt Davis) to help her move on with her life. Enzo (Michael Malarkey) convinces Caroline (Candice Accola) to join him as he tracks down a lead to get Damon and Bonnie (Kat Graham) back, but Caroline is shocked when they make an unexpected detour and uncover what Stefan (Paul Wesley) has been up to. Meanwhile, Matt (Zach Roerig) worries about Jeremy (Steven R. McQueen) who is spending time with Sarah (guest star Gabrielle Walsh), a mysterious girl who has recently arrived in Mystic Falls. Elsewhere, Tripp (guest star Colin Ferguson), leader of the community protection program, makes an interesting confession to Matt about his connection to the town.".

So we are expecting a younger brother who is sulking in the absence of the older one, a Jeremy spending his precious time with an unknown girl and a Elena who is going to say goodbye to Damon --- forever. Wait, what? Apparently, our favourite characters are all messed up.

Meanwhile, fans are itching to know, "Where the hell is Damon and Bonnie?" Well, the premiere did not give much about the whereabouts of the two. In a sneak-peak-video released, seems like those two are stuck in the past somewhere around 90s. I heard, a flashback is set to be part of episode 4. According to a video interview of the writers, "Where they are, what they are... All kinds of figuring out in the next episode".

Seems like CW is cookin' an epic season of vampire diaries. Catch the next episode of "The Vampire Diaries" Season 6 Episode 2 on CW on Thursday October 9 at 8 pm ET. Mark your calendars and don't miss it!
