Netflix has a host of new shows coming out late 2014 early 2015. Sense8 is one of them. The Series is hotly anticipated as it will be the first time the Wachowski's shall be working on a television series. The duo formerly known as the Wachowski brothers are best known for their work on the Matrix trilogy. The movies apart from bringing in insane amounts of money have fixed the duo firmly in the annals of history as notable film makers. The two are also working on the movie Jupiter Ascending coming out next year and have also produced both video games and comic books.

The series is about 8 people on the planet who find themselves uniquely connected after they each experience a tragic experience coupled with a psychic vision. They find they are mentally connected to one another and are privy to each other's thoughts, emotions and secrets. A mysterious man named Jonas is trying to bring them together as they also try to escape capture from their various state institutions that will try to capture and vivisect them. The first season is set to follow each character individually but considering their unique connection that really translates to all of them. The Wachowski siblings have stated that the series will only go for five seasons at most six and that is all they are writing for.

The series is shot mainly in San Francisco but to properly tell the story it will shoot around the globe including South Korea, Germany and Kenya. We will be seeing familiar faces like Aml Ameen who you may remember from The Butler and The Maze Runner; Tuppence Middleton, Alphonso Herrera and Brian J. Smith. Set to be released in 2015 the Wachowski's have brought people they have worked with before on board as is their habit including composer Johnny Klimmek who worked on the Matrix Revolutions score.
