"The Mentalist Season 7" Latest: Casting Changes, Another Character is Coming Back
Fans of the TV series "The Mentalist" is going to be back in January 2015 for their mid-season premiere. They cast is now doing the whole production, preparing for their next comeback on TV. Your favorite mentalist Patrick Jane (played by Simon Barker) is going to be back on the set early next year.
There are some casting changes for this season and one of them is the role of Kim Fischer (played by Emily Swallow). Fans won’t be seeing her in season seven as she recently accepted another acting gig on another TV show for Bravo this time and it is called Girlfriend’s Guide to Divorce. On the other hand, the show casts another character and this time to be played by Josie Loren (from Make it or Break it). Loren landed a recurring role on the show so viewers will be seeing her more now especially this coming new season.
As for her role, her character is Michelle Vega and she will be in Patrick Jane’s team. She plays this amateur FBI agent who just got out of the academy and it is her first time learning about the amazing talent of Patrick Jane. And since she has no idea of how Jane solves the mysteries during the job, she was not exactly impressed on how he works.
Moreover, another character is coming back and it’s Erika Flynn (played by MorenaBaccarin). If you saw the fourth season of the show, you would recognize getting out of jail as she has convinced the FBI that she’s actually an asset in the case. This time, prepare to see her in episode 3 of season 7 where she will help the team to track some criminals. That will earn her pardon from her murder case. And it seems like this will be also her way to go back to the United States.
There will be so many cases and new things that Patrick Jane’s character will solve this season so better stick around and watch them unfold. Watch "The Mentalist" when it comes back on January of next year only on CBS.
