Taken 3: Production, Filming, Sound Editing, Effects are Completed, New Cast Forest Whitaker and Johnny Weston
It is officially announced that the third installation of "Taken" is soon to be released in theaters this January 9th of next year. Directed by Olivier Megaton (Columbiana and Transporter 3), the production, filming, sound editing and effects was completed last September 17, 2014 returning Liam Neeson reprising his role as Bryan Mills, Maggie Grace as Kim Mills and Famke Janssen as Lenore Mills.
From the sequel Taken 2, Bryan Mills is returning as the ex-government operative after being maliciously and falsely accused of a murder to a loved one and is ready to track the real culprit using his 'set of skills' to find justice.
Director and screenplay writer Luc Besson sits down in an interview during the WonderCon 2014 that was held in Anaheim, California. During the film making, Besson stated to Christiantoday.com the description about the film:
"The third film is another story that has nothing to do with him and his family. No one is taken. The dog is not taken. It's another story with the same characters. It's different, but it's very good. It's probably the best of the three for me, in terms of the script." He said. He also confirmed that none of his (Mills) loved ones will be taken this time.
The production started in April as the casts were seen filming in Covington, Georgia, new members of the cast were announced such as Forest Whitaker as Franck Dotzier, and Johnny Weston, who will play as Kim's boyfriend.
The trailer was released earlier this week and millions of the followers on social media tweeted in excitement, but of course as the proverb says 'you cannot please everybody', some questions aroused upon the announcement of third movie such as if it is still necessary for them to make another film. Some of the tweets showed sarcasm and even questioning the 'set of skills' that Neeson was able to do describing his character as Bryan Mills. (Source: news.com.au)
For the fans of Taken trilogy the last question is that will Bryan Mills get the justice he wants? So, for you to find out, mark your calendars on January 9, 2015.
