Sony: Unlocking Xperia Z3 May Damage Camera Function
Sony has shared some unfriendly news to its customers of Xperia Z3 and Xperia Z3 Compact, who are trying to unlock their bootloader. It may lose "advanced camera functionality" from their camera.
The fact behind the issue is Sony's latest devices are input with certain camera algorithms that are protected by DRM, when the user tries to unlock the boot loader this will wipe the DRM keys. Especially, unlocking the bootloader removes camera sound decreases algorithms and also it affects camera functions in dim-light situations,developer. sonymobile reports.
Xperia Z3 seems to be better as compared with recently released competitive smart phones like Samsung Galaxy S5 and HTC One. Also when Xperia Z3 is compared with the other Xperia z series, the difference is pretty minor.
But there has been a list of improvements throughout its generations. Those who purchased Xperia Z2 will have a reason to change it in to Z3. Sony also uploaded a statement that there is no noticeable changes in the new version, when it is comparing with old version, NDTV reports.
Sony Xperia Z3 hits the market with a Qualcomm MSM897AC Snapdragon 801 chipset with Quad-core 2.5 GHz Krait 400 CPU and Adreno 330 GPU.
It involves the sensors like accelerometer, gyro, compass, proximity, and barometer, and will run using the Android 4.4.4 KitKat OS. It includes an impressive 5.2-inch IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen display with 1080 x 1920 pixels.
