Project Runway Season 13: Korina Called Char A ''Dead Weight''
The "Project Runway" Season 13 is loved by so many viewers all around the globe. The final six wake up to a video message from Heidi who directs them to a Brooklyn Navy Yard warehouse. Tim is waiting in front of storage lockers and immediately declare that it's got to be a team challenge. He then whips out the button bag to pair them. Everyone desires to be a partner of Kini, the super-sewer, but Amanda lucks out. Korina and Emily are partners and both are alright, leaving Char and Sean together.
The Challenge
The designers should make two cohesive looks with the use of whatever the contents of the storage units. Every team has two days to complete the challenge and were given a budget of $500 to bid for the storage bin(s) they like. There are five units available for the three teams, so at least one team will only be limited to a unit.
The Happenings
Korina and Emily get the first unit which is a pile of old furniture and chairs. They get it for a sum of $25. Amanda and Kini get the second unit which s full of children's toys and Amanda is amazed by the "psychadelic yeti" painting and is really firm on having it so they spend $190 for it.
Char and Sean have the third bin which contains barely something. Korina and Emily snatch the fourth unit which is contained with lots of random items that include a wedding dress. However, the fifth container packed with plenty of random hunting and fishing gear and leather lands in the hands of Char and Sean. All designers grab all the items in their units and proceeds to the workroom.
Sean assists Char with lots of the construction garments while Korina grab the opportunity to call her "dead weight". She reiterated that was formerly eliminated and that only people who have the knowledge should stay in this competition.
Amanda and Kini are thrilled and actually the winners of this week's challenge. Char and Sean are safe as well as Emily. In the end, Korina was ousted. Korina was defensive and leaves to pack her stuff without giving everyone a hug but only said goodbye to Tim.
