The Biggest Loser: Whole lot of Fun, Twist and Blow not only for the Contestants, but as well as for the Viewers
This week's "The Biggest Loser" will be a whole lot of fun, twist and blow not only for the contestants, but as well as for the viewers. The show returns on its one-hour episode on season 16.
Season 16, episode 4 entitled "The Lottery" begins with a "lottery challenge," where a contestant is indiscriminately picked to get the chance to go home with their trainer for a period of one week.
Host Allison Sweeney draws the name of the contestant that represents the team for the week's weigh-in.
However, you have to see the two sides. It's not all luck for the 'chosen' one. It will be a little bit complicated knowing that their weight will be the basis that counts for their team this week.
In this scenario, the chosen contestant relishes the moment with his family while watching the calories they're eating! Definitely, this week is not a team effort as the remaining team members are left in the ranch without any their trainers.
There are also two contenders who are eliminated. They are going to compete at the Comeback Canyon for another week.
This season has welcomed the returning host, Alison Sweeney while new trainers including Jessie Pavelka and Jennifer Widerstrom were introduced. The expert trainers Bob Harper and Dolvett Quince are also staying with the contestants.
NFL players Scott Mitchell (12 season in the NFL), Zina Garrison (Olympic gold medalist and expert Tennis player) and Damien Woody (two-timer Super Bowl champion) guide the contestants through the contest.
Challengers joining the season include three-time Olympic gold medal softball player Lori Harrigan-Mack, former WNBA expert Vanessa Hayden, and the combination high school and College sports experts.
This season also features Bob Harper in a challenging role of providing a chance to eliminated contestants to enter the competition again by entering a location "Comeback Canyon." The secret location is not revealed to the contestant until they entered the place. Harper trains the eliminated contestants who will compete for weigh-in weekly in order to return to the competition.
Winner of the exciting weight loss show will take home a staggering $250, 000 and will get a chance to take a shot with "The Biggest Loser" title.
