MTV included two comedy shows to its original programming roster. "Faking it" and "Happyland" were chosen to render eight episodes for the season.

MTV's Happyland swirls on a tale of two people in love who met, and finally ends up with the tragedy of their life. The comedy-drama series aired its kick-off episode on MTV on Tuesday night.

Ben Epstein's (Daddy's Girl) Happy land is a teen drama-comedy soap happening in one of the most sought theme parks. It centers on Lucy, the daughter of Elena who grew up in the colorful park of make-believe.As things have been the same all her life, she dreams of trying something new like exploring and falling in love. The story continues when Lucy met Ian, the son of the park owner. They both fell in love only to find out that they are siblings!

Earlier, Ryan Rottman playing as Theodore Chandler was interviewed by Hollywood Life. The actor told HL about his character and how he will be involved in the life of the leading characters. He shared some insights on what's going to take place in the upcoming episodes of the series.Rottman was also cornered by TVLine and revealed his part on the movie. Theodore watches the operation of the park while he is also keeping an eye to his brother. He has the good and the bad side and those viewers will see in the show.

"I like to think of him as the Chess Master, and everyone at the park is his pawns. He knows a lot more than people think he does," He added.

"My character keeps it all together," Rottman informed the site. "There's this big twist between Lucy (Bianca A. Santos) and Ian (Shane Harper) - could they be brother and sister, if they kiss? That kind of drives the season, and I'm kind of the glue that keeps everything together from imploding."

Happy land features Bianca Santos ("The Fosters") as 'Lucy', Shane Harper ("Gods Not Dead") as 'Ian', Camille Guaty ("Prison Break") as 'Elena', Cameron Moulene ("Raising Hope") as 'Will', Katherine McNamara ("Contest") as 'Harper', and Ryan Rottman ("90210") as 'Theodore.'
