The International House of Prayer of Kansas City (IHOPKC) was founded by Mike Bickle and twenty full-time "intercessory missionaries" on May 7, 1999. For thirteen hours each day, these prayer warriors talked to God. A mere four months later, on September 19, 1999, the 13-hour days grew to a 24/7 schedule.

Prayers are sent up around the clock for the release of the fullness of God’s power and purpose, as they actively win the lost, heal the sick, feed the poor, make disciples, and impact every sphere of society - family, education, government, economy, arts, media, and religion. Their vision is to work in relationship with the full Body of Christ to serve the Great Commission, walking out the two great commandments - to love God and people.

This is the group behind the annual young adult conference known as onething. The free event invites believers to join 25,000 others to worship, praise God and dive into the Word for four days in December.

From December 28th to the 31st, join Mike Bickle, Francis Chan, Allen Hood, Misty Edwards, Matt Redman, Jesus Culture and Banning Liebscher in Kansas City at the Kansas City Convention Center as they lead you closer to the Risen King. All ages are welcome and there are special children's tracks during every session (ages 6-12) for a small fee.
