Captain America 3 Release Date and Rumors: Is Hawkeye Available to Join Captain America 3? Directors of the Film Reveals the Real Score About it!
Even though the 2015 "Captain America" is mainly shot at Atlanta, there are still other locations in which Captain America will be shooting the film. "It's not an all-Atlanta shoot, it's a lot of stage work in Atlanta. There's other locations that are also involved that I don't think we can get into," director of the movie revealed.
Another interesting tidbit about the movie is that there is a possible participation by Jeremy Renner. The actor is not a definite shoo-in as the cast of the much awaited movie yet however, because his schedule still needs to be fixed.
"I was gonna say Renner might be misremembering because he was supposed to be in Cap 2 but we couldn't make his schedule work [laughs]. Maybe that's what he's talking about. It's certainly difficult. Everyone involved in these films are all movie stars, and a lot of that has to do with the fact that they're in Marvel movies, so all of their schedules are booked up. It does become very complicated," Joe Russo, co-director of the film said.
"There were iterations of Cap 2 that had Hawkeye and Widow in it, there was an iteration that had just Widow in it and there was an iteration that had nobody in it. You explore all of those iterations until you settle on what you think is the most potent or most powerful. And sometimes scheduling issues assist in that decision making process," he explained.
With regard to Captain America 3 chief villain as well as its cast members, the directors are yet to divulge the details. So fans should definitely stay tuned!
Captain America 3 is available on May 6, 2016.
