Scandal Season 3 went off with a bang when we saw Olivia going off somewhere far away from Jake Ballard without Fitz around. With the release of the Scandal Season 4 trailer just a few days ago, we finally got to know where that place is. From what we have gathered, Olivia can be seen relaxing at the beach with a glass of red wine as company.

We all expected this to come but a brokenhearted Fitz will be seen when the Scandal Season 4 Episode 1 goes back to primetime. In the trailer, we saw him sitting desperately over the phone trying to reach the unreachable Liv. Will he be able to lure Olivia back to Washington D.C.? Let's wait to find out.

We also have more breaking news with regards to casting this time; there had been a recasting of the first daughter of President Fitz. The role of Karen Grant will now be played by Mary Mouser instead of Madeline Carroll. She will be making her debut on the show on its premiere episode. As per our source, Carroll was unable to continue due to schedule conflicts.

According to ABC's official synopsis, nearly two months after Liv and Jake boarded a plane to stand in the sun together, everything has changed. It looks like a more scandalous season really awaits us all viewers.

Scandal Season 4 premiere date is on September 25, 2014.
