'Ice Age 5' Movie Release Date Latest Update: 20th Century Fox Confirms July 15, 2016
'Ice Age 5' is scheduled for release on July 15, 2016 by the 20th Century Fox. Fox announced they are excited to move ahead with the new sequel to Ice Age franchise. The made the announcement of this release on December 20, 2013.
So far Fox has made 4 films under the Ice Age franchise. The first Ice Age was released in 2002, second Ice Age: The Meltdown in 2006, third Ice Age: Dawn of the Dinosaurs in 2009 and fourth - Ice Age: Continental Drift in 2012. The upcoming film is plainly titled as Ice Age 5.
The film will continue with the story of group of mammals surviving the Paleolithic ice age. The cast of the Ice Age 5 is yet to be announced. The four stars who have been there providing their voice to the lead characters since 2002 till the 2012 in all the four sequences include Ray Romano, John Leguizamo, Denis Leary, Chris Wedge. It is not confirmed yet if they will feature again in the fifth version.
Ice Age 5 is believed to be directed by Steve Martino and Mike Thurmeier. And, is produced by Lori Forte, John C and Donkin. 20th Century Fox revenue touched $2.8 billion in total for all the 4 movies till date against a sloppy budget of $324 million. The franchise holds many box office records worldwide and the same is expected in 2016.
'Ice Age 5' is now confirmed with a release date of July 15, 2015 by the 20th Century Fox.
