'The Nut Job 2' Movie Release Date Announced: Coming in 2016; Sequel To Most Expensive Animated Film Co-Produced In S.Korea

'The Nut Job' 2 is confirmed for release on January 15, 2016. The Nut Job is a 3D computer animated heist comedy movie released in 2014. The movie was directed and written by Peter Lepeniotis. Will Arnett grabbed the attention of the audience by the voice of a mischievous squirrel.

'The Nut Job' got tremendous success this year. It grossed over $98 million in quick time. The movie featured 'Gangnam Style' dance performed by animals and human during the credit. The movie is shown a fictional city of 1959 starring a selfish purple squirrel and his rat friend who are famous for their thieving records.

This animated feature film is a complete action packed comedy. The movie was embraced with voices by Will Arnett, Brendan Fraser, Gabriel Iglesias, Sarah Gadon, Liam Neeson, Katherine Heigl, Stephen Lang and many more stars. The film was produced by Wookyung Jung and Graham Moloy.

After having got so good response from the viewers, producers roped in the team again to recreate the animated world naming it as 'The Nut Job' 2. Ortenberg reported ""We are very proud of what we have accomplished in Hollywood as an independent production company," commented Ha. "Our compliments go out to ToonBox and Gulfstream for their endeavor in the co-production and to Open Road for their successful campaign and teamwork. We are looking forward to working with them on 'The Nut Job 2."

Fans are up for a treat once again with 'The Nut Job'2 slated for release on January 15, 2016.
