Reboot - 'The Magic School Bus 360°' Scheduled For Airing in 2016: Aimed To Augment Interest In Science And Captivate Children's Imagination
Netflix and Scholastic Media recently announced the new animated TV show titled 'The Magic School Bus 360°. The show is the reboot of the original TV series The Magic School Bus that was broadcasted in 1994. The series ended in 1997 with 52 episodes in all. It was aired specifically on Saturday morning on PBS Kids.
The Magic School Bus is highly acclaimed for its educational content and mixing of celebrity talent and entertainment. It was a highly popular tv show among the school going children. The show was originally created by Joanna Cole and Bruce Degen based on the book series of same name written by themselves.
Ms. Frizzle is one of the strong characters in the series. The theme song 'Ride on the Magic School Bus' was a huge hit too created by Peter Lurye and sung by Little Richard. Looking at the grand success of this Canadian/American animated series. The Scholastic Media announced the new CGI animated series titled as "The Magic School Bus 360°" in June, 2014.
There will be in all 26 episodes in the new series and will be broadcasted on Netflix. The new series will showcase a modern Ms. Frizzle and technologically loaded bus with newest scientific inventions such as Robots, cameras, smartphones and gadgets.
