Avengers: Age of Ultron Release Date, News and Spoilers: First Look at The Vision Leaks Online

A fan posted a photo on Instagram of a promotional banner of Avengers: Age of Ultron featuring The Hulk, Hawkeye, Captain America, Thor and Iron Man. It also seems to feature the final look at one of the new members of the team, The Vision.

This is the first full-frontal look at what The Vision might look like for the upcoming blockbuster sequel. During Comic-Com they released teaser posters featuring the members of the team which includes The Scarlet Witch (played by Elizabeth Olsen) and Quicksilver (played by Aaron Taylor-Johnson). The latter had our first look at The Vision, although he was in the far background and was facing the other way. The photo of the banner has been since taken down, but of course has made rounds all over Facebook, Twitter and through other websites.

This is good news to fans seeing that the design of Vision for the film hasn't changed that much from his comic book counterpart. He still has his cape, minus the huge collar, and they've also maintained the color scheme of the costume with the exception of the gloves and boots being red. This may allude to the Iron Man suit.

Vision is portrayed by Paul Bettany through motion capture and he will also lend his voice. Bettany has been voicing J.A.R.V.I.S. the virtual assistant/butler of Tony Stark (Robert Downey Jr.) since Iron Man (2008).

In the comics, Vision is an android and was created by Ultron who was tasked to take down the Avengers. He eventually is convinced by the superhero team to turn against Ultron. In the upcoming film however, it has been speculated that Vision will be created by Tony Stark (Robert Downey Jr.) modeled from the A.I. of J.A.R.V.I.S. and is designed to battle alongside the avengers against Ultron (James Spader).

Avengers: Age of Ultron will hit theaters May 1, 2015 and is written and directed by Joss Whedon.
