The Legend of Korra Book 4 Release date, Rumors and News: Nickelodeon Officially Releases title for Book 4
It's official, The Legend of Korra book 4 is titled "Balance."
Nickelodeon officially announced the title yesterday on Twitter with a picture (seen above) of the title and a caption saying: "Start preparing your mind, body, and soul for #LegendOfKorra Book 4."
What rooted from speculations and rumors turned out to be true; Book 4: Balance isn't such a big surprise to most of us fans, but it does give us the right insight as to where the series will be going. When we were introduced to Korra back in Book 1, we saw her as somewhat of the polar opposite to Aang. When she found out that she was the avatar, she loved the idea of being the chosen one, unlike Aang who ran away from the intimidating responsibilities that was beset upon him. Korra, though enthusiastic, always had trouble in terms of spirituality. The theme of spirituality has always played a big part in Avatar: The Last Airbender and The Legend of Korra, and it seems like book 4 won't stray away from it.
With the caption provided by Nickelodeon, it seems like Book 4 won't just deal with spiritual balance, but balance overall. The four nations, the spirits, and Korra's role as the Avatar, all these seems to play a huge role in maintaining balance. By the end of book 3, we got a last look of Korra shedding a tear and looking morose. Book 4 will most likely give Korra hope, much like how I remember back in The Last Airbender Book 2 when Aang lost Appa. I feel like Korra lost a part of her when she battled Zaheer, and even more so when she felt like she is no longer needed when she ended up in a wheelchair.
All those theories aside, it makes a lot of fans (including myself) really excited on what Book 4 is really about, but at the same time it is a sad thought to know it will be the last Book for the series.
The Legend of Korra Book 4: Balance is speculated to premiere sometime in January 2015.
