'Cougar Town Season' Another Controversial Season Awaits its Fans Release Date and Spoilers Revealed
Cougar Town is an American Comedy television series created by Bill Lawrence and Kevin Biegel.
It is being produced by Bill Lawrence's production company Doozer, along with Coquette Productions and ABC Studios, and distributed by Disney ABC Domestic Television.
It was first premiered on September 23, 2009, and renewed for a 5th season on January 7, 2014.
The sitcom show in its beginnings, centers around the life of a forty year old woman named Jules Cobb portrayed by the actress Courteney Cox, who was said to have recently divorced her husband, living a new life of a single mother along with her son named Travis Cobb in the series who is portrayed by Dan Byrd, opening a new chapter of her life full of difficult challenges but often humorous and rewarding.
The comedy show stars others including, Brian Van Holt as Bobby Cobb who is the former husband of Jules Cobb and Travis Cobb's father, Christa Miller as Ellie Torres who is Jules' neighbor and best friend, Busy Philipps as Laurie Keller who is a young employee working for Jules, Ian Gomez as Andy Torres who is the husband of Jules' neighbor and best friend, and Josh Hopkins as Grayson Ellis who is living across the street from Jules' home, also living a life of singlehood.
The location of the series is a fictional town called Gulfhaven in Florida, also called by the name Cougar Town, hence the title of the series.
The show won numerous awards and nominations including, Golden Derby TV Awards in 2010, Golden Globe Awards in 2009, People's Choice Awards for Favorite Cable TV Comedy in 2013, and Critics' Choice Television Awards for Best Actress in a Comedy Series.
Cougar Town is said to return our way for a 6th and final season! Cougar fans watch out, as it is said that plans are underway for its debut in 2015!
