Big Hero 6 Movie Release Date, News, Trailer, and Updates: New Clip for the film Released by Disney
Big Hero 6 is an animated action superhero film produced by Walt Disney Animation Studio and is inspired by the Marvel comics superhero team of the same name.
A new clip has been released online featuring the characters Hiro Hamada and his robot Baymax.
The story is set in a fictional metropolis of San Fransokyo and stars the robotic prodigy Hiro Hamada and his robot Baymax and will set off in an adventure to uncover a criminal plot and create a team of crime-fighters.
This will be the first Disney animated film to feature Marvel characters since the acquisition by The Walt Disney Company of Marvel Entertainment back in 2009. The original comic book team features The Silver Samurai and Sunfire, though they won't be featured in the upcoming film due to the fact that those characters are under the X-Men franchise and their rights are owned by Fox. However, the film will feature its own rendition of the original members of the team, which will include GoGo Tomago, Honey Lemon, Wasabi, and Fred.
Production of the film began when director Don Hall discovers the comic of Big Hero 6 and immediately had an interest to adapt it into an animated feature film. He later pitched the idea to John Lasseter in 2011. Then on June 2012, Disney announced that they were adapting the Marvel comic
The film stars Ryan Potter, Scott Adsit, Jamie Chung, Damon Wayans, Jr., Genesis Rodriguez, T.J. Miller, Maya Rudolph, and James Cromwell.
Big Hero 6 is scheduled to be released on November 7,2014 in 3D.
