Agents of SHIELD Season 2 Release Date, News, Cast, and Updates: First Teaser Trailer Released Online
A new promo trailer for season 2 of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. aired recently on ABC and was recorded by a fan. The footage was uploaded to YouTube, though it is not the best quality. Luckily, someone was able to upload an HD version.
When we last left the agents in the first season, Agent Phil Coulson has now been given the title of Director by Nick Fury, and has been tasked to bring back the agency; to rise from the ashes. Hydra has now been exposed and all their assets are now being hunted all over the world. They might have successfully tarnished S.H.I.E.L.D.'s reputation, but that won't stop our heroes from protecting the people.
The new season seem to stepping up their game. In just a 30 second preview (even with clips from the previous season), it already seems promising. Agent Skye seems to be donning a new hairdo and looks like she's been doing a lot of training. Known for her technical computer knowhow, now she seems to be stepping up as a real adversary towards their enemies. We also get a glimpse of former agent Ward who has grown a beard and seems to be in a prison cell. This season might give him the opportunity to redeem himself. We also see a glimpse of Fitz and Simmons. When season 1 finished it was still unclear on Fitz's condition. Agent Melinda May looks badass as ever. Director Coulson with his voiceover gives us a sense of dread that is coming, but also promises that they have not abandoned their promise to defend the innocent from our enemies.
Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. Season 2 premieres on September 23 at 9pm on ABC.
