According to a report from Polygon, players will soon be able to buy a skin pack which will feature several characters from the very popular British television program to use in the Xbox 360 version of the game. Mojang, one of the game's developers, reached an agreement with Microsoft and BBC Worldwide to bring multiple Doctor Who- themed avatars to the game, which will come out after episodes of the upcoming series eight.

Initially, the Doctor Who skin pack will cost $2.99 and will have a feature which will be inspired by the Twelfth Doctor Who, five other doctors, their companions and the villainous Daleks. The skin packs that follow will all include at least six characters and will add characters that feature all through the history of the show. Mojang and his partners have not yet announced the exact release date for the first skin pack and it is also not clear whether the packs will be available on other platform versions of the game.

In other news about Minecraft, less than a week after Sony rejected the latest PS4 version of Minecraft, the game developers have evidently fixed the bugs and submitted the game again to Sony for certification, ahead of a public release. According to Game Zone, 4J studios, the game developer, tweeted on Tuesday morning, "#Minecraft is back with Sony for final testing. Fingers crossed..." it was earlier anticipated that the PlayStation 4, PlayStation Vita and Xbox One versions of the game would be released in August, but with the extra work that had to be done on the game, it appears like a September release could be more likely.

Nothing has been said about the PS Vita and Xbox One versions of the game, but they are both thought to be in the same track as the PS4 version. Are you excited by the upcoming game? We will keep you in the loop on more information as we get it.
