The Divergent Series: Allegiant Part 2's Release Date Set  

The Divergent Series by Veronica Roth is a true best-seller and in a true tinsel town fashion it was also turned into a movie franchise much like other novels like Twilight Series and The Hunger Games series. And the same way as these other two series became a blockbuster hit, the Divergent series became a block buster as well. Now, the series I have mentioned will one more thing in common - the last movie of their franchise will also be made into two movies.

Allegiant is the last book of the Divergent trilogy and pretty much like any other box office blockbuster movie in tinsel town, the last movie was split into two parts.

According to Lionsgate, the film studio that produced the series, they have decided to cut the movie into two parts as the Allegiant has enough plot to support two "strong and fulfilling" movies. If you have noticed, Mocking jay and The Breaking Dawn were also made into two movies and both made a lot of money. This technique has been used before and has proven that it only helps production studios to double their income so the decision is really a no-brainer for them.

The part 1 of Allegiant is slated to be released on March 18, 2016 and the part 2 will be released on March 24, 2017. So fans of the movies must mark their calendar now because the release dates are set. Main casts like Shailene Woodley as Tris, Theo James as Four will come back along with the rest of the casts.
