Captain America 3 News, Rumors, Spoilers, and Updates: Hawkeye May Have a Supporting Role in Cap 3

From all the other Avengers there is one of them who has not been given that much of exposure. Jeremy Renner plays Hawkeye, an archer of great skill and master assassin of S.H.I.E.L.D. In the first Avengers film however, he didn't do a lot, and almost more than half the movie he was being controlled by Loki. Fans don't have to worry now as Hawkeye may play a larger role in Captain America 3.

It's also been teased by Avengers director Joss Whedon and executive producer Kevin Feige that Hawkeye will play a larger role in Avengers: Age of Ultron. In a recent interview with Collider, Jeremy Renner may have teased us on the possibility that we may get to see more of Hawkeye in Captain America 3. "There are rumblings of Captain America 3.  I don't know what's going to happen there.  I've got to find the time, man.  I'm trying to stay home and I can't."

With Black Window getting more screen time in The Winter Soldier, it would be a no-brainer that Hawkeye will be in service of Captain America; seeing as that both Black Widow and Hawkeye are currently the only members of the Avenger not to have their standalone film. The great thing about Marvel is that they sign actors to a specific number of films, which would allow them to appear in multiple films, giving us the opportunity to see more of them and learn more of who they are. We now know more about the Black Widow, and it's an exciting thought that we may now get more knowledge on Hawkeye's past.

Avengers: Age of Ultron is still months away, but surely the events from that film will inevitably set the stage to what will happen next to each of our heroes.

Captain America 3 is scheduled to be released on May 6, 2016.
