Dracula Untold Release Date and Latest News: Dominic Cooper is All Praises on Gary Shore's Directing With Engaging Fight Scenes and Special Effects

Another yet Dracula movie is soon to grace the big screen and will be based on Bram Stoker's novel of the same title. We all knew Dracula as the bad guy, but this film will revolve on his origins and his soft side - meaning not entirely a bad guy per se.

Dracula Untold is the feature film debut of Director Gary Shore and Dominic Cooper who stars as Mehmed II is all praises most notably how Shore manages the fighting scenes and the special effects. The film is set to be a mix of live action and special effects and Cooper is excited for audiences to see what Shore has achieved.

Speaking to Total Film, the actor said: "There's one particular sequence called 'the hand of the bat' that I can't wait for the audience to see. There's a superhero analogy throughout the film, and trust me, you wouldn't have seen Vlad use those powers on a grand scale before.

"Fights need to look amazing and heroic but they need to feel disgusting. You need to be appalled by the violence, because that's what a fight would be like.

"On a bigger scale, visually, he (Shore) mixes it well with the huge choreographed battle sequences which are stunning to watch. When you see a whole army of men taken down by one man, it's also got to look realistic to a point.

"Whatever powers he's capable of mustering, you still want to believe that his power is having an effect and it's not just some CGI thing."

Dracula Untold Cast would include Luke Evans as Count Dracula/Vlad III Tepes, Sarah Gadon as Dracula's wife and Dominic Cooper as Mehmed II.

Dracula Untold release date is on October 17, 2014.
