Street Fighter 4 Ultra Release Date, Reports And Rumors: Street Fighter To Be Available To PS4 And Xbox One Though Not To Wii U
We have the latest for you on the release date, reports and rumors of Street Fighter 4 Ultra. As per reports by SegmentNext, Yoshinori Ono, the Capcom producer tweeted that the "street fighter" will finally be available to PS4 and Xbox One. There is no confirmation however, on which title will go to the two game consoles. The sad news though is that the franchise will not be coming to the Wii U.
The latest installment of the game is the "Ultra Street Fighter IV". This version was released this year but only for PC and the last-gen consoles. Capcom was bombarded with questions from the fans of "Street Fighter' almost immediately about the game's availability in the Xbox One and PS4. At first, Capcom gave very vague answers about the possibility of the PS4 and Xbox One versions of the game, but now they have revealed about the other versions of the game which should be exciting news for the fans.
Incidentally, it is only last month when MadCatz, a peripherals manufacturer had announced that the company would soon develop a fighting stick for the "Ultra Street Fighter IV" which would allow the players to switch between PS3 and PS4 with ease. With the announcement from Ono, it seems that the series of "Street Fighter" which seemed 'dead' has now been revived, which is a good things to the fans. It has not been clearly defined whether Yoshinori Ono will be working on the "Street Fighter" on the Xbox One and PS4 directly. Meanwhile, he is also the producer of another game known as "Deep Down." According to GameSpot, he recently stepped down from his post as the head of the Vancouver Studio of Capcom. GameSpot also gathered from his remarks that the new Street Fighter version will be a pay-to-win type of game.
The Wii U is being left out in most games. EA will not be releasing Madden or FIFA games for the Wii U console. Likewise, Ubisoft has reported that Assassin's Creed game will also not be available for Nintendo's Wii U. It might take quite some time for Capcom to release the Xbox One and PS4 versions of the Street Fighter as they have just released the "Ultra Street Fighter IV" and "Tekken 7" and "Mortal Kombat X" which are due for release next year.
