Sin City A Dame to Kill For Trailer, Videos, News, and Updates: New Clips From the New Movie Posted Online
Sin City: A Dame to Kill For is the sequel to 2005's 'Sin City' which was directed by Robert Rodriguez. In this upcoming sequel, Rodriguez returns to direct with co-director and comic book creator Frank Miller, and with most of the original cast returning.
Sin City: A Dame to Kill For is based on Frank Miller's second story in the 'Sin City' series which was first published back in 1993 in miniseries format. This sequel will not only include the original stories from the comic, but will also have 2 new original stories titled "the long Bad Night," and "The Fat Loss."
On Saturday, 2 new clips were released online in anticipation of its premiere this coming Friday titled "Johnny Fight" and "Killing an Innocent Man," featuring newcomers Joseph Gordon-Levitt, and Eva Green and Josh Brolin respectively.
The returning cast members who will reprise their roles from the first film includes Bruce Willis, Jessica Alba, Mickey Rourke, Rosario Dawson, Jaime King, and Powers Booth. New cast members include Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Josh Brolin, Eva Green, Ray Liotta, Lady Gaga, Juno Temple, and Jeremy Piven.
Back in May, controversy surrounded the promotional poster of Eva Green who was wearing a shear gown. The said poster was eventually banned by Motion Picture Art Association due to partial nudity.
Principal photography for the film began on October 2012 with an intended October 4, 2013 release date, but was later pushed back to 2014.
Sin City: A Dame to Kill For will start showing on August 22, 2014 this coming Friday.
