Resurrection is television series on ABC that made it series premiere back in March. The series has been renewed for a second season and is currently under development.

The season finale of Resurrection left Agent Bellamy and Jacob in a not so good situation, and fans of the show are wondering what will happen next to the rest of the Arcadians. The season finale was shown back in May.

Executive producer Aaron Zelman said that there will be a time lapse between the season 1 finale and the season 2 premiere saying, "We won't open right at the end of Season 1. We come in about a week later. Things have happened in town that you'll get a surprising explanation for that will take things in a darker direction for Season 2." He also revealed that most of season 2 will revolve around Bellamy saying, "Fred's mother's secret will be about the family business so to speak."

The latest addition to the cast is 'Game of Thrones' alum Michelle Fairley who will be portraying Margaret Langston. Margaret is the mother of Henry and Fred. She is apparently younger than her sons because she hasn't aged since she died. In a video released by ABC featuring Fairley, she talks about her character and what she thought of being part of the cast of season 2 saying, "I'm incredibly honored and excited to be playing Margaret Langston ... I watched season 1 and was totally blown away by the strength of the writing. It's not afraid to go into areas that other shows wouldn't dare [to touch]."

Back in July 15 ABC officially announced that the second season of Resurrection will premiere on September 28 along with Once Upon A Time and Revenge.
