"The Chosen" has released its first teaser for Season 6 - and alongside it, a surprise from an artist outside the show's usual musical lane: multi-platinum country hitmaker Tyler Hubbard.
The teaser, unveiled July 27 during a livestream hosted by series creator Dallas Jenkins, offers the first glimpse of the season's most emotionally difficult chapter yet: the 24 hours of Good Friday, culminating in Jesus's crucifixion. Season 6 premieres November 15 on Prime Video with three episodes, followed by new episodes weekly through December 6. The season finale will arrive as a standalone theatrical release on March 12, 2027.
Alongside the teaser, Jenkins confirmed a new companion album, "inspired by The Chosen," produced by 5&2 Studios and Capitol Christian Music Group, set for release this fall. Its lead single, "All I Need Is You," comes from Hubbard - the former Florida Georgia Line frontman - and arrives August 7.
Hubbard, who surprised viewers with an acoustic performance of the song during the livestream, said the project holds personal meaning for his family. "My wife, my three kids, and I have a nightly ritual of watching 'The Chosen.' We really got into it!" he said. "It's a show that I love and am connected to, so I was really excited to personally be a part of the show and part of the music."
He described the song as a departure from his usual sound. "'All I Need Is You' is a song that's out of my normal country music box," Hubbard said. "It's a song that hits close to home. I think a lot of people can relate to the need for Jesus. To write a song about something that really matters is extra special."
The full artist lineup for the companion album is expected to be revealed in the coming weeks.
