Morgan Wallen played Ben Hill Griffin Stadium in Gainesville, Florida on Friday night - sold out, loud, and fully inside enemy territory for a man who has never once pretended to be anything other than a Tennessee Volunteer.

For his 2026 "Still The Problem" tour, Wallen has turned the pre-show walkout into one of the most anticipated moments at every stop. He brings out a local legend - someone the city already loves - and walks to the stage with them. Tuscaloosa got Nick Saban. Indianapolis got Caitlin Clark. Gainesville got Tim Tebow.

The Heisman Trophy winner and two-time national champion walked alongside Wallen through the south end zone tunnel on Friday night - the same tunnel Florida Gators players charge through before every home game. The two stopped to touch the gator head statue. The stadium went loud in a way that surprised even those who expected it. Then Tebow turned to Wallen and started doing Gator Chomps.

Wallen looked at the crowd. He looked at Tebow. He shook his head.

The man who wrote a song called "Tennessee Fan" was not doing the Gator Chomp. Not in Gainesville. Not anywhere. He wore a Gainesville Harley Davidson shirt. He touched the gator head. He drew the line exactly there. One fan watching from the stands, commenting later on Instagram, noted that the stadium somehow cheered louder for Tebow's entrance than for Wallen's own.

Then the show ended - and Tebow got the last word anyway.

Wallen posted the photo of the two of them together under the Gators neon sign inside the tunnel to his Instagram. His caption read: "A lot of bad memories as a Vols fan cause of 15." Tebow wore number 15 at Florida. He also went 4-0 against Tennessee during his time with the Gators. He saw the post and replied from his verified account: "Awesome night brother! Only thing that could've made it better is if you'd have given us a gator chomp." That comment pulled 7,113 likes. The crowd agreed with Tebow.

Friday's show was the first concert inside Ben Hill Griffin Stadium since Garth Brooks played there in 2019.

For the JubileeCast audience, Tim Tebow in this story means more than a football cameo. He is the founder of the Tim Tebow Foundation, which has served people across 115 countries through anti-human trafficking work, special needs ministry, and orphan care. His Night to Shine prom for people with disabilities has grown into a global movement supported by thousands of churches worldwide. Long before any of that, he wore John 3:16 on his eye black during the 2009 BCS National Championship - and it became the number one Google search in America that night. When Tebow walks into a stadium in 2026, all of that walks in with him.

Wallen's tour moves on. Denver gets two nights on May 29 and 30, followed by Pittsburgh, Chicago, Clemson, Michigan, and Alabama through the summer.
