We The Kingdom is not slowing down - and if "God's Way" is any indicator of what is coming June 12, this next album is going to hit hard.

The multi-Grammy-nominated family band has officially released "God's Way," a new single now available on all major streaming platforms. The official music video dropped three weeks ago, and the performance video followed just days ago - both pointing to a band that is building real momentum heading into the release of their upcoming album, Everything I Thought Was Pleasure, on June 12 via Capitol Christian Music Group.

The song itself is one of the most direct things We The Kingdom has written. The lyrics trace a journey from rock bottom to surrender - "everything that I thought was pleasure only gave me pain" - before landing on a chorus built entirely around the relief of choosing God's way instead of your own. The track captures the tension between the human desire for control and the liberating truth that God's ways are higher - a theme that runs deep in We The Kingdom's catalog, and one their audience returns to again and again.

The band is a multigenerational family collective made up of Ed Cash, Scott Cash, Martin Cash, and Andrew Bergthold - a group whose roots go back to working with Amy Grant, Needtobreathe, Chris Tomlin, and for KING & COUNTRY before launching as We The Kingdom in 2019. Their debut single "Holy Water" became one of the defining CCM songs of the early 2020s, and the band has built a devoted following across worship, radio, and live audiences ever since.

Everything I Thought Was Pleasure is a 7-track project - compact and focused, which says something about the band's intent. The album title itself carries the same confession embedded in "God's Way": a reckoning with what the world offers versus what actually satisfies. For a band whose name is rooted in the belief that the kingdom of God is here among us, the project feels like a natural next step - not a reinvention, but a deepening.

Romans 8:28 sits quietly underneath everything We The Kingdom builds: that all things work together for those who love God. "God's Way" is that verse turned into four minutes of music. It is the kind of song that plays in a car on a hard day and lands exactly where it needs to.

Everything I Thought Was Pleasure releases June 12. "God's Way" is streaming now. Pre-order the album at wethekingdom.com.
