The Voice Season 29 just made history - and Kelly Clarkson is loving every second of it.

Monday night's episode of The Voice: Battle of Champions wrapped up the Knockouts round and delivered the show's very first All-Star Showdown, bringing back six iconic past champions to battle head-to-head on behalf of their former coaches. The result? Kelly swept the entire thing - and she's heading into the finale with a major advantage.

First, the Knockouts Wrapped Up

Before the all-stars took the stage, three more artists secured their spots in the Semifinals. Unlike the Battles, the Knockouts had each artist perform solo with a song of their own choosing - and there were no Steals or Saves this season.

Jared Shoemaker (Team Adam) outperformed Jaali Boyd, KJ Willis (Team Legend) topped Grace Humphries, and Mikenley Brown (Team Kelly) edged out Jonah Mayor to advance. Each coach now heads into the Semifinals with three artists.

The All-Star Showdown: Champions vs. Champions

Then came the moment fans had been waiting for. Six of The Voice's most beloved alumni returned to perform songs from their original runs on the show - judged by none other than original coach CeeLo Green, who promised to call it exactly as he heard it.

Representing Team Legend were Season 16 champion Maelyn Jarmon and Season 27 finalist Renzo. Team Kelly brought back Season 17 winner Jake Hoot and Season 21 winning trio Girl Named Tom. Team Adam fielded Season 1 champion Javier Colon and Season 9 champion Jordan Smith.

Here's how each round played out:

Round 1 - Girl Named Tom (Team Kelly) vs. Renzo (Team Legend) Girl Named Tom performed "Dust in the Wind" by Kansas. Renzo went with "Dream On" by Aerosmith. CeeLo praised both but gave the edge to Girl Named Tom, calling their three-part harmony "so necessary" and their sound "peaceful and tranquil."

Round 2 - Maelyn Jarmon (Team Legend) vs. Jordan Smith (Team Adam) Maelyn sang "Fields of Gold" by Sting - the song from her original blind audition. Jordan delivered "Chandelier" by Sia. CeeLo called it an honor to be in the presence of what both artists represent, but ultimately chose Maelyn, saying she "touched him" and "moved his soul." Jordan Smith, whose gospel-rooted faith has always been central to his artistry, gave a performance that drew massive praise even in defeat.

Round 3 - Jake Hoot (Team Kelly) vs. Javier Colon (Team Adam) Javier revisited "Time After Time" by Cyndi Lauper - his original blind audition song. Jake delivered "Desperado" by The Eagles. CeeLo called Javier's voice "timeless" and "iconic," but said he was "totally blown away" and "surprisingly impressed" by Jake, naming him the champion of the final round.

Kelly Clarkson Wins the All-Star Showdown

With Girl Named Tom and Jake Hoot both winning their rounds, Kelly made a clean sweep of the All-Star Showdown - earning the right to bring two of her artists into the finale, doubling her chances of becoming the winning coach this season.

The finale is set for April 14, 2026, and for the first time in show history, the winner will be decided by super fans and past Voice artists voting live in the studio audience - not the public at home.

Whether your favorite is a powerhouse belter or a faith-driven underdog, one thing is clear: The Voice 2026 is not going to be an easy win for anyone. Tune in Monday, April 14 at 9/8c on NBC or stream on Peacock.
