Federal authorities have released new surveillance footage in the ongoing investigation into the disappearance of Nancy Guthrie, prompting renewed public discussion that now includes her son-in-law, Tommaso Cioni, and members of his former band.
The FBI and the Pima County Sheriff's Department this week shared recovered video showing a masked individual outside Guthrie's Tucson-area home on the morning of her disappearance. The individual appears to be wearing gloves, a ski mask, and a backpack. Officials have not identified the person and have not named any suspects or persons of interest.
Nancy, 84, was last seen January 31 after having dinner with her daughter Annie and Cioni, who reportedly dropped her off at home. As previously reported, Cioni has not been accused of wrongdoing.
Following the release of the footage, online speculation has expanded to include Cioni's former bandmates from the Tucson-based group Early Black - Dominic Evans and Walter Gonçalves. Social media posts have circulated unverified claims and comparisons, though law enforcement has not linked any of the individuals to the video evidence.
Authorities continue to urge the public to avoid spreading unconfirmed allegations and instead focus on providing credible tips that may assist the investigation.
As the case develops, many within Christian communities remain in prayer for Nancy's safe return and for clarity as investigators work toward answers.
This is a developing story.
