Christian band Tenth Avenue North marked a significant milestone in their journey with a special return to Palm Beach Atlantic University (PBA) on February 6, revisiting the place where the band's story first began more than two decades ago.
Ahead of the event, the band announced on social media that they would be performing a full concert at PBA, describing the night as a celebration of their 25-year journey. "It all started here 25 years ago... now we're coming back," the band shared, inviting longtime supporters to be part of what they called a meaningful homecoming.
The Feb. 6 gathering turned into a full-day celebration, beginning with a chapel appearance in the morning and concluding with an evening concert in the same building where Tenth Avenue North once played their very first show. Following the event, the band reflected on the experience, calling it "an absolute epic day" and expressing gratitude to everyone who attended and sang along.
One of the highlights of the night was a surprise former-member reunion, as original members Jeff Owen, Danny Zayas, and Brendon Shirley joined the band on stage for a special mini set. Songs such as "Love Is Here" and "By Your Side" were performed with original members, creating an emotional moment for both the band and fans.
Tenth Avenue North also shared how meaningful it was to return to PBA for the first time since the original members were students there, describing the night as one they will remember for a long time.
The band closed their reflections with hope of returning sooner rather than later, thanking Palm Beach Atlantic University for hosting a night filled with worship, music, and shared memories.
