House of Cards Release Date and Spoilers: Executive Producer Beau Willimon Dishes Out Some Insights on Frank and Claire Underwood’s Relationship

 

Get ready House of Cards fans, because the popular American political drama television series is going to hit your screens once again with its much anticipated third season; though, nobody can pinpoint when exactly, as of yet. Rumors have been circulating for months prior to February 2014 that the House of Cards season 3 release date would probably miss its typical February premiere, which it apparently did.

Do not get too worried yet, however, about the House of Cards season 3 release just. It is all possibly just a delay which, as hinted by several articles in the Internet, may be due to production problems, but is it not a classic slip-up by a hit TV series to cause some slight delay to prolong the anticipation and just suddenly come out with a bang? Speculations about what truly could have caused the third season release delay would probably seem pointless and baseless for now, so it might be better to just wait for a little while and see what happens.

For now, the Netflix show's executive producer Beau Willimon might have inadvertently leaked some tiny bit of significant House of Cards season 3 spoiler in an interview with Variety. Upon Variety's remark that Frank and Claire Underwood's relationship is one of the strongest in television, Willimon said something about how in the BBC version, marriage does not seem to be that much emphasized especially when the wife seems to be treated more like a secondary character, which they would not want to do with their show. Although it was more implied rather than said out rightly, that probably still is a valid expectation for the upcoming House of Cards season 3.
