for KING + COUNTRY Joins Forces With Melodic Caring Project To Bring Joy To Kids In Hospital Care
Multi-Platinum and award-winning duo for KING + COUNTRY recently partnered with Melodic Caring Project to bring joy to kids who are in hospital care over the holidays, as they livestreamed their concert performance from the historic Grand Ole Opry in Nashville, Tennessee, on December 22 -- which included special shout-outs to nine "rockSTAR" fans across the U.S. Says for KING + COUNTRY, "Something really beautiful happened at the show. We partnered with the Melodic Caring Project to stream the concert to kids watching in their hospital and home-care rooms around the country. They couldn't be there in-person with us so we were honored to stream the show to them to send them some love and encouragement." Says Levi Ware, President/Co-Founder, Melodic Caring Project, "Our unique and personalized programs offer ongoing support to patients (rockSTARS) by connecting our artist partners and team of music therapists and Rockologists with those in need around the world. for KING+COUNTRY meant so much to the rockSTAR kids and their families, and brought them joy during some of the most difficult times. The kids felt like true rockSTARS!" |
Said rockSTAR Logan's mom, "Warrior Logan from Phoenix is watching the for KING + COUNTRY live stream concert with his family and we are having such an amazing time! Thank you so much for coordinating with such an amazing band ❤️. They gave a shoutout to Logan and he kept chanting, 'I won! I won! I won!' Cutest thing ever...what a special Christmas. Thank you. We love you guys." Says rockSTAR Markus, "This year my parents and I are spending Christmas 700 miles away from home and away from my two siblings as I recover from surgery. Being this far apart from my family for the holidays has been difficult. Thank you for hosting the for KING+ COUNTRY online Christmas concert during this time to bring joy to many people around the country and world. Listening from Cincinnati Children's Hospital." Says rockSTAR Laney & family, "This has been an incredibly frightening year for our family. We've watched our little girl experience pain, fear, countless medical tests, a biopsy, and experimental treatments. These livestreams give us something special to look forward to. Thank you so much for a wonderful show. It was amazing and filled with so much joy and positive, caring energy! Laney absolutely loved it, and it was such a gift to see her so proud to hear her name from stage!" |
