Highly successful ‘The Bible’ miniseries are now available on DVD and Blu-ray after its television premiere on History Channel.
‘The Bible’ miniseries produced by Mark Burnett and his wife Roma Downey aired on History on March 3 and ended on Easter Sunday, March 31, with its final episode featuring the crucifixion, death and resurrection of Jesus Christ.
The 10-hour series featured Biblical stories including some of the biggest figures in the Biblical history such as Noah, Abraham, King David, and Jesus Christ.
Now, the miniseries with strong ratings come out as a four-disc set including hours of behind the scenes footage and special features.
In October, in the interview with the best-selling author and pastor of the Saddleback Church in Lake Forest California, Rick Warren, the author of ‘The Bible’ miniseries Burnett expressed, “"I have had great fear, but my fear isn't of the failure of the project. It's looking back later having done nothing. It's a very serious fear. The fear of not making a meaningful contribution, of being insignificant, of looking back [and thinking] that I didn't step up. I am honestly petrified of that, or I was, and my pain of feeling like I let myself down, my family down, and not taking the risk to do it was far greater than the pleasure of being calm."
