Terminator: Genesis - One of Our All-Time Favorite Action Star, Arnold Schwarzenegger Returns!

Arnold Schwarzenegger is back! Bigger, badder and revamped, Terminator Genesis is slated to be shown at the green screen by July 2015 courtesy of Paramount Pictures and promises more than just to be the fifth film of the franchise.  In fact, it was confirmed that it will not be a direct sequel to the last Terminator film, Salvation but rather it will be a reboot of the whole series. The kicker? It will be released in 3D animation glory. Another thing that fans of the franchise should look out for is the young T-800 being sent back in time, according to an MTV interview with Schwarzenegger himself. Is Arnold finally passing on the Terminator torch? Probably so. Expect a clash of the old and new T-800 and new twists to come along with the time travel theme of the movie.

Schwarzenegger will be reprising his role as Terminator, otherwise known as T-800, and will be joined by the likes of Emilia Clarke playing Sarah Connor, Jason Clarke as John Connor, Jai Courney as Kyle Reese and Dayo Okeniyi as Danny Dyson. Joining the cast will be South Korean actor Lee-Byun-hun as T-1000, the shape-shifting antagonist in Terminator 2: Judgment Day. The science fiction action film's screenplay is written by Laeta Kalogridis and will be directed by Alan Taylor. Will this comeback be a pass or a fail? Who knows for sure but until July 2015, we are not too sure if this new swing of the series will stay or if it will make us simply say 'Hasta la vista, baby'.
