Daigle won the AMA for Favorite Artist: Contemporary Inspirational. Other artists nominated in this category included for KING & COUNTRY and MercyMe. This is Daigle's fourth straight year for winning in this category.
The AMA nominations are based on interactions on Billboard.com, streaming, album and digital song sales, radio airplay, social activity and touring. Winners are voted on entirely by fans. The American Music Awards pays tribute to today's most influential and iconic artists. The show is produced by dick clark productions and is seen in more than 200 countries and territories around the world.
Meanwhile, Daigle will be singing the National Anthem at the College Football Playoff National Championship in New Orleans on January 13th. Her performance is expected to be televised on ESPN. Kick-off is set to get underway at 8pm ET.
