iPod 6G Touch Release Date, Features, Reveals, Rumors And Updates: Apple Seems To Be Keeping The iPod 6G Touch A Tight Secret But Some News Is Leaking Online
Apple seems to be flourishing and earning a huge capital return on the current devices they have launched as well as the Apple pay service that is supported by the iPhone 6. The rumors of the iPod 6th generation have been rampant and are exceedingly many causing a lot of anticipation from the fans of the flagship. It was earlier believed that the iPod 6G would be launched alongside the iPhone 6 and 6 plus but on that event day the iPod was a no show. With Apples events nearly over, no one is sure when it will be launched. All bets are on that the iPod 6G will be launched before the end of this year. Apple stunned the world in September as instead of launching the iPod 6G touch, they opted to continue selling and promoting the now outdated iPod 5 in its online and retail stores, according to Stabley Times news reports.
Apple is very secretive as up to now, the iPod 6G always seems to slip right under our noses not even a sneak peak of an official announcement on when to expect this new device. Only speculations and rumors seem to be circulating on the reason the iPod 6G is taking so long to launch and make its debut. In other related news, Apple have opted to include NFC on the new iPad Air 2. This just makes things more convenient as it makes a lot of sense as one will not have to queue to pay for Apple services while they can just swipe on their iPad.
The iPod 6G will run on iOS 8 operating system set to be released this fall, reported KPoP Starz. The new iPod 6th gen could also carry new features from Apple which include Touch ID, Apple's finger print security feature and even Apple pay, and this is a new payment service launched by Apple that allows one to pay for Apple products by simply hooking up their credit card information to the iPod. All this new features are in an effort to increase security and convenience to the user.
Certain rumors also revealed that the iPod 6th gen will be designed in a way that it allows sync with the iPhone 6. The two are set to complement each other that is if the rumors hold water.
In other rumors the iPod Touch 6G was set to be launched alongside iPad air 2 and iPad Mini 3 on an upcoming Apple event, but it still did not happen.
