Truth be told, when Apple failed to include the iPod Touch 6G in the list of products announced at the Keynote event which happened on October 16th, it really disappointed the fans. The techies were expecting the tech titan giant would make an announcement regarding the upcoming device.  There are  rumors on the internet regarding the chances of Apple unveiling the iPod Touch 6G alongside the upcoming Apple Watch, and this is going to be Apple's first wearable device so to speak. Some of the fans have even been speculating Apple has delayed the release of the device until the first quarter of next year because many of the products of the company are currently within their development and testing stages.

Of course, some of you have even heard the company is testing different screen sizes for the iPod Touch 6G similar to the recently released iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus. At the same time, there other reports that insist Apple is just concerned with the possible pricing of the product. Some of the tech experts like Tom Bones have been predicting that the iPod Touch 6G release; is going to be juxtaposed to the iPhone 6 launch which is this September. On the other hand, the post on the phones review website noted the device was supposed to be unveiled earliest in October together with the upcoming iOS slates, the iPad Mini 3 as well as the iPad Air 2.

Techmania reported the iPod Touch 6G release date has apparently been delayed to March 2015. This reports states, "Apple likes to keep the spotlight on their new iPhone models in September, and of course the iOS 8 public release will feature as well." One of the iOS 8 features which might in fact be available for the iPod Touch 6G as are available in the other revealed devices include the Touch ID of course, better screen resolution and faster processing speed.
