Lila and Eve Movie Release Date, Reveals, News, Reviews and Teasers: Davies Aml Ameen, Chris Chalk, Yolanda Ross, Ron Caldwell and Lopez Cast for 2015 Movie
Viola Davies is one of those actresses that have been able to stay relevant throughout the years. The celebrated actress has won a host of awards including a Tony and started her long career in 1996. She recently made a really good career move by accepting the lead role in the new drama from ShondaLand, How to Get Away with Murder. Among the movies Viola shall be in next year is Charles Stone's Lila and Eve alongside Jennifer Lopez. You would expect that given her recent career move she would only be picking feature films but Viola is just one of those people that laughs in the face of adversity. When you hear JL o is in a movie in all honesty it's a little hard to take it seriously. The singer is regarded as an actress in some quarters but in all honesty it' not acting we think of when Jenny from the block is mentioned.
Charles Stone III is known for his work on Drumline and Mr. 3000. Recently he dabbled in documentary work with the critically acclaimed TLC story. Charles however is best known for his extensive work on music videos. Miss Davis is one of the executive producers showing hat faith she has this project. The movie is about a support group for women who have lost their children. Lila who has recently lost her son joins the group where she meets Eve who encourages her to go out and get revenge for her son's death instead of sitting around and waiting on the police.
'The movie is set for a January 1st 2015 release date and other than Lopez and Davies Aml Ameen, Chris Chalk, Yolanda Ross, Ron Caldwell and Diarra Kilpatrick are on the cast list. A+E Networks, Chick Flick Productions and JuVee are funding the project while Creative Artists Agency has the distribution rights.
