Sofia The First's new special, "Sofia the First: The Curse of Princess Ivy" has released a trailer for the upcoming Disney special, which you can check out above.
"Sofia the First: The Curse of Princess Ivy", airing Sunday, November 23rd @ 7PM ET/PT on Disney Channel.
Official Plot: Sofia discovers that her amulet is for so much more than just talking to the animals when her sister Amber takes the amulet and uses it to summon a princess. Unfortunately, the princess that magically appears before Amber and Sofia's eyes is evil and she wants to overthrow the kingdom of Enchancia! Sofia and Amber's every attempt to stop the princess fails...that is, until Rapunzel comes along and helps the girls come up with the perfect plan to save the day.
"Sofia the First: The Curse of Princess Ivy" stars Ariel Winter as Sofia, Darcy Rose Byrnes as Amber, Mandy Moore as Rapunzel, Anna Camp as Princess Ivy, Oliver Platt as Everburn, Zach Callison as Prince James, Travis Willingham as King Roland II, Sara Ramirez as Queen Miranda, Tim Gunn as Bailiwick, Wayne Brady as Clover, Ashley Eckstein as Mia, Meghan Strange as Robin and Jess Harnell as Cedric the Sorcerer.
Monday, November 17 - Sunday, November 23 (8:30 a.m., ET/PT), Disney Channel will air "Sofia the First" episodes featuring Disney Princesses Cinderella, Snow White, Ariel, Aurora, Belle, Jasmine and Mulan, leading up to the special's television premiere. Also debuting are new "I Am A Princess" interstitials featuring stories from Disney movies, including "Frozen" and "The Little Mermaid," told through the eyes of children.
Disney Junior's "Sofia the First" is the all-time record holder for the top two cable TV telecasts for Kids 2-5. 2014 to date, it is TV's #1 series in Girls 2-5 and the #1 preschool series in Total Viewers and Women 18-49.
Craig Gerber developed the series, who also serves as executive producer and story editor. Jamie Mitchell is executive producer and director. John Kavanaugh serves as songwriter/music director, and Kevin Kliesch is the composer. "Sofia the First" is a production of Disney Television Animation.
