Motorola Droid Turbo vs Sony Xperia Z3: Which One Will You Go For?

More specifications have been released since the much-leaked and much-anticipated release of the Sony Xperia Z3 and the Motorola Droid Turbo. While both of these belong to different big names, both are also subjected to a benchmark test.

The Droid series of smartphones is an exclusive product of the smartphone partnership with Verizon and Motorola. This big tech name will exclusively be manufacturing Verizon's Droid smartphones, as Verizon looks to pile-up high-powered mobile devices so its subscribers will have a long list to choose from.

The term "Droid" refers to the upgrade that smartphones have received since Moto X. It's been believed that Droid Turbo will have 3GB RAM and Snapdragon 2.7GHz quad-core processor. Aside from these, the Droid's most exciting feature is its 48-hour battery life, thanks to its 3,900mAh battery. When combined with Motorola's Turbo charge feature that can render a battery life of 8 hours in only 15 charging-minutes, Droid Turbo will definitely have a massive batt power.

The GSM Arena has reported that the Droid Turbo's availability and price details are still unrevealed until the official introduction on Oct. 28.

Sony Xperia Z3, on the other hand, looks a lot like its predecessor with the same metallic casing on both its front and back portions. This time, though, its edges are more rounded- a feature that considers it a pretty "phablet".

Its screen will remain the same at a size of 5.2 inches, although its resolution is updated to have 1,920x1,080 pixels. It is strikingly sharp and clear a it has used Sony's telly technology in delivering vivid colors and deep contrasts. Its pixel count isn't as magnificent as a few that went before; however, Sony has explained that the high resolution won't be worth it if it'll take away almost half of the original battery life.

According to iTech Post, Z3 will be running an Android KitKat 4.4.4 version with the typical Sony tweaks. It will also have a 2.5 GHz quad-core processor backed-up by a 3GB RAM; a built-in memory of 16GB; and 3,100mAh  battery capacity.

Which one will you pick is up to you. I, guess, you'll still have time to think things over as both devices' are still on its way for the big release.
