Hannibal Season 3 Release Date, Reviews, Rumors and Reveals: Tao Okamoto from the Wolverine Cast for Season 3

The release date for Hannibal season 3 has not been confirmed as yet but the rumors suggest sometime in May. When we last left off, the found that the series is going to make a major leap the next season in terms of the characters and their lives. Apparently, Bedelia and Hannibal will already be settled into their cover identities in Italy. Gillian Anderson, who plays the role is expected to play a major part in Lecter's mission across Europe.

In  an interview with Speakeasy, the actress hinted things are going to be way more intense when the 3^rd season begins next year. "I start next week! I have a small inkling of the trajectory but anytime I talk to Bryan about it my brain explodes a tiny bit," she claimed. Dr. Bedelia who was recently introduced to the series last season plays quite a crucial part this time round being Hannibal's partner and possibly romantic interest in their killing escapades. When Anderson was asked how long this would be for, she said that was above her pay-grade. However, judging by Hannibal's character and inability to keep long relationships before killing his partners, it should not be that long anyway.

In other news, it seems that Tao Okamoto has been cast to play the mysterious Lady Murasaki in the third season of the series.  The role was originally introduced in Thomas Harris's third Hannibal Lecter novel, Hannibal Rising, Murasaki happens to be Hannibal's aunt, whom he lived as a teenager after being removed from an orphanage. So it seems their murderousness may run in the family, even if it is just a foster one. One scene that we apparently need to watch out for according to the latest Hannibal spoilers is the rematch between Agent Crawford and Dr Lecter. Allegedly, the two are going to square it again in combat, but we have no idea who is going to have the upper hand this time.
